COVID-19 Lockdown as an Atypical Stressful Situation and Ways of Coping with It

Little is known as to what extent the pandemic lockdown has changed perceived level of stress and stress-coping strategies. In response this gap we present results quantitative qualitative studies on levels coping with conducted among Polish adults during COVID-19 lockdown. The first study indicates that appraisal moderately, it also affected strategies in various areas. second reveals miscellaneous reasons for (health, economic, political, social, freedom restriction, religious). Participants a moderate stressor, more challenge than threat. Moreover avoidant style recognized most adaptive reaction our study, confirms people have natural ability adapt unpredictable unexpected situations like © 2021 Academy Sciences. All rights reserved.
